If you’re transfer-eligible, transfer admission is still possible!

Eligibility as a Transfer

*To be eligible to transfer to UC Riverside, you need to know this: Make sure you complete the following before the end of Summer 2009 to insure your eligibility:


If you Have at least 52 UC-transferable units...

If you Have at least 52 UC-transferable California community college semester units

and maintain a 2.6 grade point average (GPA) or better; however, you may need a higher GPA depending on the major to which you apply.

Complete the following course pattern with grades C or better:

1. Two 3-semester (4-5 quarter-) transferable unit courses in English composition.

2. One 3- semester (4-5 quarter-) transferable unit course in mathematical concepts and quantitative reasoning, and

3. Four 3 semester (4-5 quarter-) transferable units courses chosen from two of the following: Arts and humanities, social and behavioral sciences, physical and biological sciences

Got all that? You’re all set!

If you have fewer than 52 UC-transferable units...

If you have fewer than 52 UC-transferable units: You’re eligible if you:

• Were eligible to attend UC when you graduated from high school, have at least a 2.0 GPA in transferable California community college course work, and are in good standing after your last term, or

• Identified as Eligible in the Local Context (ELC) in your senior year of high school, have at least a 2.0 GPA in transferable California community college coursework, and are in good standing after your last term.

Done that? You’re ready to go!
